To Whom It May Concern: I would like to express my interest in obtaining a job as a dog walker/sitter. I have always loved animals and would welcome the opportunity to have a job caring directly for animals. I have a Yorkshire Terrier named Jenny who is now four years old, and I treat her as my own child. I bring her everywhere and care for her constantly. I have many positive qualities that would make me a successful dog walker/sitter. Judging my personality, you will find me very outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic. I would relate well to many different types of clients, especially dog lovers. I also find it very easy to initiate conversations with people who share my interests, mainly in owning and caring for dogs. In addition to my communication skills, I also have good organizational and computer skills. I am very punctual, reliable, energetic, and enjoy being productive and being a part of a “hands on” environment. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to different canine breeds and their various personalities. I participated in several “T-touch workshops” in which I learned different T-touch methods that I now apply to my dog, Jenny. As always, I am open to learning new techniques and look forward to adding to my knowledge about dogs. I am very focused and dedicated to spending my time with duties I find rewarding. I would do my utmost to ensure that the dogs are as happy as possible.
