About me Kevin L.
First of all, I love animals. I was that child who went into a month long-clinical depression following the horrifying and tragic end to the mouse problem at our family home. I begged for a pet ferret until I was blue in the face. When I was 15, I bought a pet mouse (actually, saved it from becoming snake food) while my parents were out of town, named him Mark, and hid him in the basement. To my surprise, two weeks later, Mark had quite a few babies (renamed Mark-ette). Aside from the stranger creatures, I grew up with a beloved black lab named Elvis, who I still think about every day. My neighborhood was full of dogs growing up, and I was always the go-to sitter when families would go on vacation. To this day, I could probably tell you the name of every family dog all the way up my old street. My parents are both allergic to cats, so I never had one growing up, but now that I live on my own I figured it was about time; I've added a kit...

My neighborhood was full of dogs growing up, and I was always the go-to sitter when families would go on vacation. To this day, I could probably tell you the name of every family dog all the way up my old street. My parents are both allergic to cats, so I never had one growing up, but now that I live on my own I figured it was about time; I've added a kitten named Plum to the household and am slowly learning the cat-loving lifestyle. On top of this, I already can't wait for the day when I have the free time to get a Newfoundland and name him Sergeant. So, yeah, I love animals. Any extra opportunities I can find to spend time with them are golden in my book. I'm a responsible person and a natural caregiver; pet sitting comes naturally to me.
